The first three years are the most powerful window for development. Our Early Risers program delivers expert, family-centered early intervention for infants and toddlers — supporting communication, motor skills, and developmental milestones from the very beginning.
About Early Risers
Early Risers is The LEEAP Center's dedicated early intervention program for children from birth to age 3. Research consistently shows that the first three years of life represent the most critical and sensitive period for brain development — and that early, targeted intervention during this window produces the most significant and lasting outcomes.
Our interdisciplinary team of SLPs, OTs, and PTs works together to provide comprehensive, family-centered early intervention services — meeting children and families where they are, and building the skills that will set the foundation for a lifetime of growth.
We believe that parents are the most important people in a child's life — and in Early Risers, we make sure families have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to support their child's development every single day.
Birth to Age 3 Specialization
Our Early Risers therapists are specially trained in infant and toddler development — understanding the unique needs of this critical window.
Interdisciplinary Team
Speech, OT, and PT specialists work together to address the whole child — communication, movement, sensory, and self-care development.
Family-Centered Practice
Families are partners in every session. We coach caregivers to embed developmental strategies into daily routines for maximum impact.
Play-Based & Naturalistic
All Early Risers therapy is play-based and naturalistic — because young children learn best through joyful, meaningful interactions.
Program Areas
Comprehensive early intervention across speech, OT, PT, and family coaching — all under one roof, with one coordinated team.
Early identification is the cornerstone of effective early intervention. Our Early Risers team conducts comprehensive developmental screenings and evaluations for children from birth to age 3, assessing communication, motor, cognitive, social-emotional, and adaptive skills. We use standardized, play-based assessments that are comfortable for young children and informative for families.
