SenseAble — Sensory Integration Program

When the world feels too loud, too bright, or too much — or not enough — children need specialized support. Our SenseAble program delivers evidence-based sensory integration therapy to help children process their world with greater ease, confidence, and joy.

About SenseAble

Every Child Deserves to Feel at Home in Their Own Body.

SenseAble is The LEEAP Center's dedicated sensory integration program — designed for children whose nervous systems process sensory information differently. Whether your child is overwhelmed by everyday sensory experiences, seeks out intense sensory input, or struggles to regulate their arousal and attention, our SenseAble OTs are here to help.

Sensory integration therapy is grounded in the work of Dr. A. Jean Ayres, who recognized that the brain's ability to organize and interpret sensory information is foundational to all learning, behavior, and development. Our SenseAble program applies Ayres Sensory Integration principles in a fully equipped sensory gym — providing the therapeutic sensory experiences children need to build a more organized, responsive nervous system.

We believe that when children feel safe and regulated in their bodies, everything else — learning, relationships, communication, behavior — becomes possible.

Ayres SI Certified Approach

Our SenseAble OTs are trained in Ayres Sensory Integration — the gold standard, evidence-based approach for sensory processing difficulties.

Our sensory gym is stocked with swings, trampolines, climbing equipment, and tactile materials to provide the therapeutic sensory input children need.

Whole-Child Integration

SenseAble OTs collaborate with SLPs, PTs, and behavioral specialists to address sensory needs across all areas of development.

What SenseAble Offers

From comprehensive evaluation to individualized SI therapy, sensory diets, and school consultation — SenseAble addresses sensory processing across every dimension of a child's life.

Understanding a child's unique sensory profile is the foundation of effective SI therapy. Our SenseAble OTs conduct comprehensive sensory processing evaluations using standardized assessments, clinical observation, and parent/teacher questionnaires. We assess how a child processes information across all sensory systems — tactile, vestibular, proprioceptive, auditory, visual, gustatory, and olfactory — to create a complete sensory picture.

What to Expect

  • Standardized sensory processing assessment (SPM, SIPT, or similar)
  • Clinical observation of sensory responses and adaptive behavior
  • Parent and teacher questionnaires for cross-environment data
  • Sensory profile report with strengths and areas of need
  • Recommendations for home, school, and therapy
